He is one of the few artists depicting wildlife as a theme or concept, which he contemporises, producing exquisite works of art which is different to the normal wildlife paintings one is accustomed to.
We would highly recommend his work to any young collector especially if they are lovers of wildlife.”
“John Moore is a consumate professional as an artist. His practice is detailed and flawless as well as visually seductive.
His work engages with real issues of the environment couched in aesthetic terms that laud the power and beauty of nature, while commenting on mankind’s destructive tendencies towards nature.
Moore is a master printer of high stature and a committed artist.”

“This Knysna Seahorse is one of our most threatened species as its habitat is being threatened by the encroachment of man. It’s a beautiful yet delicate balance we need to be mindful of.”
